Just as with the other UP families, the UP50N-W9 has a full range of detectors to provide the best choice for any application. It includes the low profile UP50N-40S-W9 stand alone detector good for measurement from a few tens of mW to 40 W. The heat sink of the UP50N-50H-W9 pushes that to 50 W. For embedding in machines or for greater immunity from environmental fluctuations, we offer the fan cooled UP50N-50F-W9 and the water cooled UP50N-50W-W9. All the 50 W versions are good for 75 W if the laser exposure does not exceed 2 minutes.

Ultra Performance means ultra damage threshold with the W9 absorber. This is the marriage of our revolutionary WB absorber with our high performance Ultra detector. This surface absorber can stand up to average power densities of 100 kW/cm². This is among the best in the world for average power density.
