If you are looking for online monitoring for high power applications, Gentec-EO’s HBS Series is the solution. It is the ideal attenuation method for beam profiling since it keeps the spatial profile of your beam.

As pioneers in the online monitoring of high power lasers, Gentec-EO brought you the benefits of holographic sampling without the vulnerability of the coatings usually used to make holographic components. Holographic sampling means you get spatially accurate samples of the beam, from as much as 10% to as low as 10^-8% of the incident power. It means you get multiple samples at the same time. It means that the polarization in the samples is accurately preserved. It means that more than 99% of the beam continues straight through the HBS to your application. It means that vibration, temperature and humidity will not affect your measurement. Because of our proprietary and unique fabrication process, you get all this with a damage threshold as high as that of the bare fused silica itself!
