Before we start exploring the advanced filters, it’s worth mentioning that the fastest and easiest way to find the laser beam measurement instrument you need is to use our product finder.

Filters are always located on the left end side of the screen on desktop and above the products on mobile devices.

Filter types and values will be different for each measurement type (power, energy, profiling and terahertz). In all cases, they work the same way and are clearly identified.

At the time of writing these lines, there are 83 laser power detectors available. Applying filters will shorten the list.

Let’s say your laser average power is 500 mW. Therefore, there is not point at looking at product that can measure above 1 W. So, you check the box “1 W or less” as below:

Suddenly there are only 18 products left.

Since you already own a TUNER, you would like a detector that is compatible with this display device. Therefore, you apply this filter:

There are now only 9 products left!

It now makes much more sense for you to start browsing and look at each product individually.
