Even though Photonics West is held virtually this year, Gentec-EO had a busy program for the trade show. It was good to virtually meet many of our existing and future customers.

New product: high laser power meter with low back-scattered power
The new HP60A-15KW-GD power detector has a gold reflector cone that is specifically designed to handle the high intensities of very small but powerful beams. By reflecting the incident light on the sides of the aperture, the cone effectively spreads the intensity on a larger area (which is covered by our proprietary high damage threshold absorber), thus raising the damage threshold to 10 kW/cm2 at full power.

- OEM PCB user manual was updated to version 2.8
Drivers installer update
Our USB drivers installer was updated to version 2.00.00
- Many changes to the user interface
- New drivers for BEAMAGE-M2
