Gentec-EO wins the "Historical Items Contest" at ICALEO
Thursday, October 25, 2018
For the Laser Institute of America’s 50th anniversary, our Eastern USA representative Félicien Legrand attended the ICALEO conference in Orlando, FL last week.
Gentec-EO won the first place at the Historical Items Contest organized by Directed Light Inc. Some fine pieces of laser history were gathered there! Kudos to Spectra-Physics and EWI for winning the second and third places.
Thank you Neil Ball (President at Directed Light, Board of Directors at LIA) for the opportunity to showcase our 1978 Gentec ED-500 Detector (S/N 6291) and PRJ-A Joulemeter (S/N 12019) with original specification sheets.
Gentec-EO's long term expertise is all reflected and packaged in today’s equivalent products: the QE50 pyroelectric detector and the MAESTRO display. Our serial numbers nowadays are above the quarter-million... Sometimes you have to look back to see how far you've come!
We are constantly looking for ways to innovate and improve. With strong roots in laser beam measurement and exciting product releases on the way, we are proud to be your partners for accuracy!
