What’s new at Gentec-EO in September 2023

September 2023 was a big month at Gentec-EO. Here is what’s new.
New version of our BLU app in Google Play Store
Click here to download the latest version of the BLU app on your phone or tablet from the Google Play Store.
The changes with this version:
- The Settings panel has been added, allowing you to change the measurement font size in all panels.
- Tapping on the measurement value will now change the number of significant figures.
- Other minor bug fixes and source code improvements.
- The app is now compatible with even more Android versions (including the most recent ones).
BLU for wireless laser power measurement
BLU is Gentec-EO’s product series that allows you to measure laser power wirelessly. Customers use it to get rid of wires in their lab setup or to put their laser power detectors in an enclosure in their systems.
The small but powerful meter of the BLU Series presents a bluetooth connection so you can display the results on your mobile device with the Gentec-EO BLU app available for iOS systems in the App Store and Android systems in Google Play.
Need to use it with a PC? Simply plug in the included bluetooth receptor and be ready to make power or energy measurements within seconds!
Look for this icon when browsing products on our website to know which ones are available with BLU.
User manual update
- S-LINK series user manual was updated to version 3.2
- MAESTRO user manual was updated to version 9.9
- BA series user manual was updated to version 2.4
- BEAMAGE series user manual was updated to version 26

Product drawing update
- 3D (STEP) files were updated for the following product series: BA16-60S, BA16K-150S-H5-D0 and BA16K-500F-H9-D0
- 2D (CAD) file was updated for the QS series

Firmware update
New firmware versions are available for INTEGRA V2 (USB) and INTEGRA V2 (RS232)
The new firmware includes autoscale improvements.
