Measurement capabilities

  • Maximum average power (continuous)

    15 W
  • Maximum average power (1 minute)

    20 W
  • Noise equivalent power1

    2 mW
  • Spectral range2

    0.3 - 2.5 μm
  • Typical rise time3

    2.5 s
  • Typical power sensitivity4

    0.34 mV/W
  • Power calibration uncertainty5

    ±2.5 %
  • Repeatability

    ±0.5 %
    • 1. Nominal value, actual value depends on electrical noise in the measurement system.
    • 2. This spectral range refers to the calibration traceability.
    • 3. With anticipation.
    • 4. Into 100 kΩ load. Maximum output voltage = sensitivity x maximum power.

  • Maximum pulse width

    90 ms
  • Energy calibration uncertainty3

    ±5 %
    • 1. For 360 μs pulses. Higher pulse energy possible for long pulses (ms), less for short pulses (ns).
    • 2. Nominal value, actual value depends on electrical noise in the measurement system.

Faster measurement with XNR AnticipationTM

Measure laser power up to 10x faster (model-dependant) with XNR AnticipationTM. Our proprietary algorithm looks at the rate at which the signal increases or decreases and combines this with calibration data to predict the result. The measurement is therefore calculated and displayed faster than the natural response of the detector.

Why does it matter?

  • Save several seconds to tens of seconds for each measurement
  • Shorter operation interruption
  • Faster laser output diagnostics
  • Increased productivity
  • No compromise on measurement accuracy
